This is the first i a series of large-sized D n D dice boxes. "Roll" measures 8 x 8 x 4 inches and comfortably holds approx 120-150 (or more) dice, depending on sizes. (Pic shows box holding 158 dice of various sizes.)
The unique feature of this box is the top opens and lays flush with the bottom so the top may be used to roll dice during play. The bottom is cushioned and lined in black suede. The top is lined in red felt for easy rolling.
The outside of the box is decorated through use of pyrography ("fire writing"), color pensil and acrylic paint. While a double chain encircles all sides, the top is adorned with a design that incorporates 16 D n D gods, 4 alignments, as well as the iconic Dungeons & Dragons ampersand.
Since poplar is a semi-hard wood, I affixed a sturdy, locking clasp to the front. Two keys are included.
Each Knotty Box is titled and numbered, branded on the bottom and includes an hand burned wooden tag that details mediums used in the making of each box.
